What happens if my keyword loses ranking in the 30 day guarantee period?
We guarantee the Client a minimum of 30 days of first page ranking on Google for the target URL and the corresponding keyword. This does not mean that the target URL will lose its position after 30 days. This only means that our guarantee is valid for 30 days. There are instances where the rankings tend to fluctuate between first page and second. You know how Google Works. So here is how we calculate. We compensate those days that the rankings have missed out by extending those many days. In all, our guarantee is that we keep your keyword and website on Page 1 for 30 days.
 Can I terminate the Elance Escrow Contract before the 4 month period?
If a Client wishes to terminate the Contract any time before the stipulated 4 month tenure, the Client is liable to pay the entire fee agreed in this agreement. The reason this clause is being added is because we have had some clients in the past who terminate the agreement once they see their SERPS between 10 and 20 or when we are so close to ranking them on Page 1 of Google only to evade from paying us for the hard work we have put in. Because they know we have already done the lion’s share of work of getting his site from nowhere to Top 20 of Google.
Don’t you think it is only fair that we add this to our terms and conditions in the Agreement?
What happens if you are unable to rank my site?
Now this is a rare case scenario. For some odd reason, we might have a keyword or two which we are unable to bring to top 10 of Google. If we are unable to bring the Client URL to first page of Google within the 4 month period, you will not be charged for any payment whatsoever for the entire service rendered by us during this 4 month tenure.
How can I check my rankings/SERPS?
The ranking will be tested on SEOMOZ.org with Google as the search engine chosen and the field for Country chosen as Country specified by you. We stress on this and ask the client to verify the accuracy of this tool before agreeing with us as we had issues in the past with the clients over the ranking discrepancies once the rankings are achieved
